Technical and Supply Chain Summit
22 September 2023 - Palazzo di Varignana
The first Atlante Summit dedicated to Quality and Supply Chain was a day full of insights, best practices, and innovation.
Our speakers shared with us stories of success, new predictive tools for commodities, concrete actions for sustainability, and the challenges of the end-to-end supply chain.
We saw "from the inside" what it truly means to be an ethical company, how regulatory tools will impact our way of working from now until 2030. To conclude, an unprecedented look into the future took us into the metaverse.
But above all, it was a day of sharing and exchange, in line with the Summit's theme: it's all about relations!
We can't wait to meet again next year!

Agricultural commodity markets are increasingly volatile and complex. They are interconnected with more and more variables that need to be kept under control and monitored in order to be able to operate with determination even in times of price shocks and peaks. In this context, the collection and timely assessment of data and the most advanced forecasting tools have taken on a crucial role, as they are the only tools that can help operators implement effective buying and selling strategies. Methodology and case studies are presented to us by Enrica Gentile, CEO of Areté, and Filippo Roda, Senior Analyst at Areté.

Gianstefano Cecca
Ethical Manager Atlante
What do ethics and social responsibility mean for a company? Gianstefano Cecca, Atlante's Ethical Manager, answers in clear terms: they mean not just thinking about profit, but being aware that many people outside the company contribute to its success, and it is only right that they should share the benefits. A company that puts ethics at the heart of its values is proud that all workers in the supply chain – even if they are in far-away countries, or that are very different from European countries – are guaranteed rights and a fair wage.

In particular, the Farm to Fork project aims to build a supply chain that works for consumers, producers, the climate, and the environment.
